Just picked this up from our friends at BA:

The bulk of the road was re-opened at Christmas - the last bit at the Somersby end is scheduled to re-open around June.
Sounds like an excuse to check it out and grab a Pie in the Sky. Do let us know what you find...!
Oh, and for those that may not have heard Max shut shop late last year - as in the Mt White Road Warriors Cafe is no more. The land owner used a rent hike to get vacant possession so they could follow their own particular development intentions, which sadly didn't include a motorcycle oriented cafe in the area! For those that might say the facility was not up to scratch anyway please be aware that 1) Max is one of the good guys, and 2) This development wrangle has been going on for several years and is the reason things like toilet facilities were not upgraded long ago when they needed to be.
