This is actually a really good, and well put together, event.  Right up there on the Ducati calendar of places to go and people to see, as it's run with a purpose ( Ducatisti having fun ) and an ultimate outcome ( fund raising - for a very worthy cause ).

Take a look through the entry form and remember that YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO TO SUPPORT IT.

That's right, they have a 'pikers option' which allows you to donate, get recognised, receive memorabilia, and still support the cause.  And with this one being the 30th anniversary, why not get amongst it ?

Dear Fellow Riders,
               Here is an invite'/info for this year's Thunder Rally. The 30th one! Held over the 7/8/9th October, at the beautiful Sheba Dams recreation area, 8k up the hill from Nundle, 40k south of Tamworth. All the usual rally awards, including "Longest distance stuffed Cat". B.Y.O. everything, but the local Lions Club make dinner and breakfast on the Saturday night/Sunday morning. Eftpos and supplies available at Nundle. Fresh water and toilets on site. We have solid raffle prizes, including vouchers for bike gear and more! The rally is hosted by the Ducati Owners Club, N.S.W. and held to benefit the Moorong Spinal Unit. All bikes and riders welcome. By attending you are taking your place along with the 9000+ riders who have travelled 8,000,000+ks supporting this concept over the last 29 years. Don't forget your fishing gear, some beautiful trout have been caught right at the site! There is a "non-attendance option" for those who still want to support "Moorong" and get their badge, T-shirt etc, but just can't get there. Ride safe, one and all.
