Hmm, wonder if Free Beer is one of those great catchalls??? Unlike the club ride next weekend where we have the same fine offering available the below one you actually have to work for! However I have done flaggie duties a few times myself and it ain't a bad way to spend the time. I also know if you only want to volunteer for the weekend they are not going to turn you down! Dear fellow enthusiasts
Forget Superbikes, forget MC Grand Prix, forget Moto GP--- April 1,2,3 sees the premier MC event of the year: the Barry Sheene Festival of Speed at Eastern Creek. Practice day is the Friday followed by two days of high profile Post Classic racing.
We need to provide flaggies for all three days. Expect a briefing at 0800 followed by a day on the circuit wrapping around 4pm. One, two or three days - please let us know what you are able to do.
Ride on!

Edit: next day, another message:
Subject: Still needing Flag Marshalls for Barry Sheene Festival of Speed April 1, 2, 3.
Folks
We are well short of the numbers we need to run a safe and efficient race program at Eastern Creek on April 1, 2 and 3. Please give this your urgent consideration and pass it on to any people or networks you know who might be able to assist. We would like to confirm our numbers by March 21, two weeks from now.
Again, thanks for your involvement... no flaggies, no racing!!
All the best.
(PS then there is Wakefield again... Sunday May 14!)
