From the BA list:

Saturday 12/02/10: For those of you riding tomorrow there is a new Cafe on the Putty Rd half way between Windsor and Singleton. It is in the middle of nowhere but well signposted. The entrance is sketchy so if you pull in, burn off all your speed first (one day a rider will entertain the crowd). They have put in a real effort to be bike friendly with dedicated bike parking on a concrete slab right out the front. Nice food, coffee but no fuel. Have a great ride.

Sunday 13/02/10: The Halfway House is also doing a sausage sizzle and selling cold drinks on weekends. It has bought by someone intending to rebuild and should be fully open again in August, so he claims. He won't be selling fuel for a while.

Maybe there was more than one way to get your money back in a slow market...

??? Not only is said but I saw the inferno on last night's news. Yes it is true the Half Way Roadhouse on the Putty Road did in fact burn down. Getting fuel in Broke should be enough to get, even the most thirsty bikes and indeed those with tiny fuel tanks, to Colo Heights. All is not lost.
       Cheers

An ST is the way to go!!! ;D

Word is that the Half Way House near Putty, on the Putty Road, burned down last weekend.

Chances are the fuel pumps will also not be trading! So wipe that as a destination until we know what is going on....

Time now to get an ST3 touring bike - maybe with business tax vehicle benefits ???
