Auto Italia 2009

Exhibition of Italian Art on Wheels comes to the Nation's Capital

Lovers of Italian automotive excellence will want to make a note to be in
Canberra next April as the lawns of Old Parliament House play host to Auto
Italia.  We invite you to attend.

Auto Italia is the largest one-off gathering of Italian cars, motorcycles
and scooters in the country.  Over 300 lovingly-maintained exhibits will be
arriving from all around Australia; in 2009 Ferrari takes pride of place as
the featured marque.

This classic event is as much a celebration of the people who love them, as
of the vehicles themselves.  "Auto Italia is not a 'concourso' event." said
the President of Auto Italia ".but more of a social gathering.  It is a fun
occasion for the ordinary enthusiast".

Auto Italia's magnificent location boasts plenty of space and shade for
families to picnic, and enjoy the parliamentary gardens changing into their
autumn colours.  Right next door to some of the A.C.T's top attractions,
2009's Auto Italia is a great excuse to visit and celebrate the nation's
capital, while paying homage to some of the best examples of Italian design
genius.

Auto Italia revs up on Sunday April 5 2009 at the lawns in front of Old
Parliament House, King Edward Terrace, Barton, A.C.T.  Italian food and
coffee will be available.  Spectator entry is free and there are facilities
for disabled people.
