You'll see that the link for voting for the 2009 Turismo is still there, but the voting closed on 2 Feb 2009.

I found this post by "Di", the president of Ducati NSW club, on what used to be their forum (they split the forum off from the club after a bit of argey-bargey)

Spent a bit of time doing some Ducati work down at Phillip Island last weekend.
The next Turismo has been decided! Not out on their web page yet, but it Tassie!
So this means it will be next February or March 2010.

well i would go but no ten nightyeight rrrrrrrrrrr and im stuck in nohab but mrs topdog has her new ducati she likes to ride without me even to breakfasts where i can eat without help!!

Personally I stuck in a vote for SE Qld as the roads in the area are just brilliant. At 5,148km Frances & I doing the loop to SA this year was probably a bit on the high side, but a really cool way to collect previously undiscovered-by-science-bugs on our bikes (which stick really well when collected travelling down roads called things like "Worlds End Highway"). SA was full of (nice) surprises and there were no issues, I really must get around to writing a ride report - when I get time out of this working by day & building by night thing I've sucked myself into! Which is all going very well, by the way - vacuum of spare time to do Ducati stuff excepted. The bugs are still there as I just parked it up on return and started catching up with the building activities which were piling up at a fearful rate. Frances however has more sense and has since washed hers and gone for a ride - once! She is, after all, my prized painter and can't scarf it too often!

As you'll see, there's a range of suggested options, and they're calling for votes.

Personally, whilst I'd love to see Tassie or SA, I'll probably go for one of the closer routes - out of Sydney or Canberra.  I haven't cast a vote yet.

What do you think?  Anyone who's been on one of these (I haven't) want to comment?
