Yes, good thinking. Find out what's "on the slab" now, and anyway Maria should routinely be saying a bit more about that in her note. It didn't occur to me that things would have changed because they were like that, ie a reserved couple of garages and good access to helpful info, typically including one of the veterans keeping an eye on the more novice Ducati riders and giving some useful feedback. This was my 3yo experience, if they have changed that much there would be no point to letting people know if it has just become a day out for the "in" crowd. I was flippantly (and lazily) using wry humor, but I get that these things need facial expression to come across how intended!
I have just checked out all the places we could see an update for the Raymond Terrace track and not a squeak. I could make a call but there is no point, when it is "on" we will have plenty of notice and impatience serves no useful end. Mind you, reading Chris's story suggests getting the lead out to be a lot more prepared could only be a good thing, as once bitten the bug is undoubtedly going to take one round the countryside so what's the big deal re timing? (question for self!).
Aha, as a PS: I have just scrolled through all these NFI emails and see they started off saying things like the following:
7/09/05 "Have you been thinking about Eastern Creek Ride Days to further enjoy and explore the potential of you and your Ducati ?

after which it pretty well moved to just advice about the dates. I trust this is a more useful answer, now you can ask Maria with clear expectations on top of your experiences........!!!!
