Re: Station Resort - Disabled access is OK

Say Scottie, have you seen what a skier looks like after a hard day on the slopes? I have been that skier a few times, and I can tell you there is lots of disabled access at the Station Resort (where the rally is based)!!! A quick Google check shows they are on the list here: https://www.agfg.com.au/guide/nsw/snowy-mountains/listings/accommodation/features/disabled/

For me, last week I have just accepted a project role that involves three o/s posting stints and then finish the project from Oz. The NDR is bang in the middle of the third 4 week one. Personally I doubt the third stint is necessary, but need to do the first two to see if that is true, so I will be there if I can, but currently I can't - so we need a new ringleader to be sure! Something I will undoubtedly put a newsletter out covering in late Jan / early Feb when things are clear...

Thanks Hoppo & I have personally looked into coming down to the National Ducati Rally, unfortunately the hotels not got rooms that have disabled accessibility for me to come so im sorry mate I cant join you guys & I guess being in the snowy mountains that truly are awesome for riding through that they wouldn't ever need to have a wheelchair accessible room being on a snow skiing mountain  :'(  But I will still be there with you all in Ducati riding spirit & I truly hope you all have a great / safe NDR!!

Hi Hoppo,

Wouldn't miss it for quids! Keeping an eye on it here: https://hunterdog.org.au/DiscussionBoard/index.php/topic,1095 plus listed it (item 3) in the last Newsletter here: https://hunterdog.org.au/DiscussionBoard/index.php/topic,1104 which was sent to the 212 people on the mailing list. Hopefully we will get a reasonable contingent going.

For the last one a decade ago we went down as a group of about 8, hopefully a similar contingent this time....

Oh crap, I have just accepted a project start-up role that involves three fortnights o/s and the 1-3 March 2018 is bang in the middle of the third one, got the dates this morning. These things can of course change, so won't know for sure, but often they just get locked in too! Still, whatever happens, I will at least be rattling the can to get a few from up this way along...

PS: As an accepted forum member you can click on the Members list at the top and at least try and deduce if they are old crew types. But here's a tip from Admin: When PM'ing people give them your email as most manage to quickly forget their passwords, judging by the many legitimate looking attempts to log on by lots of people. That is the main reason I turned guest posting on, as well as to allow people wanting to make a legit contribution to do so, which happens from time to time. Registering just gets you the (very infrequent but always interesting!) newsie updates really...

As an old Newcastle boy I wanted to make sure that you guys were aware of the National Ducati Rally that the Canberra District Ducati Club is running in March 2018.  We are running it out of Jindabyne and it is being supported by Ducati Australia and our local motorcycle dealer.
We have a lot of info at www.cddc.org.au or you can join the National Ducati Rally page on Facebook.
It would be nice to see if any of my old crew were still alive or even still sane.
My family is still in Newcastle so I get up that way from time to time.  It would be nice to catch up if possible.
