Hey Scottie, whats with all the excuses? I don't have any tats either but a couple of tanks of fuel and a donation to a worthy cause can be funded ok. Is there anything else? A camping weekend away has to be one of the best value holiday breaks going I would have thought.

With the live entertainment and campfire merriment everyone will be letting their inner retard out to play - you will fit right in. And since you actually are not a retard you will be the smart one!!! It only takes a slightly bigger tent to accommodate a wheelchair, but haven't you nearly shaken that sucker? The dunnys are pretty big too so you would fit right in.

Dunno what the problem is really. Except maybe you need to keep putting shit on yourself since nobody else will. What was that you were recently saying about allowing the past to constrain you? Oh yeah, you had decided to stop doing it! Guess this is just a minor relapse to show you where you have been. Take a bucketload of that lovely new attitude and pour it on this one willya please? And find excuses and methods to get out more now that you have found the driving mentality to lift your life to its full potential. 35th Thunder Rally 2016 = No Excuses, OK?

i do wish i was going to this one but unfortunately there is no retard accessible accommodation or i would have asked for the funding that would have been turned down because i don't have any tattoos!!  :(

Yes its on again. It looks like the weather is going to be cloudy and mild during the day, so perfect riding weather. This year we thought it might be nice to ride up with the DOC NSW Saturday contingent leaving Sydney at 8:30am - what works nicely is to meet at the Bulga servo around 10:30am and depart shortly thereafter. For details of the Sydney departures / general chatter about the rally see here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1396109567356253/

The Bulga servo is in Bulga (surprise!) at the top end of the Putty Rd. Typically get there via Broke and Milbrodale Rd across to the Putty. Watch out for laser guns around Broke, they are pretty common there!

More event details are at http://www.docnsw.org.au/#!thunder-rally/c16qq and for pics from last year see http://hunterdog.org.au/DiscussionBoard/index.php?topic=949.msg2705#msg2705.

Basically it is bring your tent and sleeping gear, and everything else needed is available in Nundle (grog) and on site (Lions Club bbq). This year I am told there will be live entertainment Sat night plus gymkhana activities are planned. Should be interesting! If you would like to join in the fun it will be a great weekend - certainly Kellie and I, and Chilli (the Lhasa Apso - see above link for pics!), are looking forward to it, how about you?
